Support for mental health professionals who need a safe place to talk
Therapists need support too. Working in mental health can take a quiet toll, especially when you are holding space for others while moving through your own challenges. In a city like Calgary where the counselling community can feel small, it can be difficult to find a private and trusted space to talk about your own thoughts, stress, and relationships.
This service is designed to give therapists a supportive place to explore what they are carrying. Your work, your personal life, and your emotional wellbeing all matter. Here, you are not treated as a therapist who happens to need help. You are treated as a human being with real experiences that deserve attention and care.
Many therapists seek therapy for reasons that feel personal and professional at the same time. You might be navigating feelings that connect to your work, your relationships, or your past. You might want a place to reflect on burnout, boundaries, or emotional fatigue. You might simply want to know what therapy looks like from the other side of the chair.
My role is to offer a calm and confidential counselling space where you feel respected and heard. Sessions are guided by curiosity, collaboration, and care. Together we explore the stories and pressures shaping your life, and we move at a pace that feels safe.
I offer counselling for therapists across many areas of mental health and emotional wellbeing. I practice through a postmodern lens and practice narrative, response-based and solution-focused therapies.
All sessions are confidential. You can speak openly without fear of judgment or professional scrutiny.
"I will always treat our conversations with the utmost sensitivity and confidentiality."
Sessions take place in a calm and welcoming space where you can talk about what you have been feeling. You can bring up anything that feels heavy or confusing, whether it is related to your work or your personal life. I check in regularly to make sure our conversations feel helpful and comfortable for you.

Most insurance plans cover counselling provided by a Registered Social Worker with a Master of Social Work. Coverage varies by provider. If you are unsure, please contact your insurance company for details.
